Please note, we’ve made Saturday 9th Match games a MANDATORY 10:30am start, with pre-game practice to take place between 9am and 10am. This is due to the forecast of high temperatures across Melbourne for that day. Should the temperature reach 36c at the designated BOM station outlined in schedule 1 of the Metro Conditions of Play , as per clause 36.2, the game must stop. If games have not, or, cannot be completed , clause 33.2, indicating 60 ends for a 16-a-side game and 45 ends for a 12-a-side game will be enforced. If these end numbers have not been reach and play cannot continue, the likely result will be the completion of the game Sunday morning.
